چکیده
Red meat is one of the most frequently consumed sources of protein in human society. One of the measures to increase meat production is cattle muscle growth. Genes and hormones have a significant role in animals’ growth and development. STAT3 and HMOX1 genes are of great importance in the growth process. HMOX1 gene is involved in skeletal muscle cells and plays an important role in the regeneration of muscle fibers and STAT3 gene is involved in cell proliferation, development, differentiation and apoptosis. The impact of microRNAs on the expression of these genes might reduce gene expression. The aim of this study was to identify the effective microRNAs of STAT3 and HMOX1 genes. In this study, STAT3 and HMOX1 gene sequences were first obtained from NCBI site and miRNAs were predicted using mirWalk software, and microRNAs were selected therefore, in previously studied, their role on growth and development has been investigated. In order to identify the most effective microRNAs on the target gene, the interaction between microRNAs and target genes was done using Hybrid RNA database. Based on scoring methods performed by bioinformatics software, HMOX1 gene was introduced as a target gene of bta-miR-483 and bta-miR-423-5p as a potent inhibitor of STAT3 gene. These microRNAs affect the growth through metabolic and biological pathways. Therefore, they affect bovine development by altering gene expression. By studying these microRNAs, we could use genes that are more important in biological pathways in genetic models in order to influence growth and development.
