introduction:
Triazine is a six-membered heterocyclic ring containing three nitrogen atoms in which nitrogen
replaces the carbon-hydrogen unit in the benzene ring. Based on the position of the nitrogen in the
ring system, there are three isomer forms, 1,2,3-triazine, 1,2,4-triazine and 1,3,5-triazine [1].
Methods:
Phytic acid doped graphitic carbon nitride was synthesized [2]. For the synthesis of triazin
compounds, the solution containing 2-aminobenzamide (0.10 mmol) in distilled water (10 ml) which
is stirred with a magnetic stirrer at 0 °C, and then catalyst (15 mg) and n-butyl nitrite. (1.2 mmol)
was added to the reaction mixture and stirred for 1.5 hours. The precipitated product was filtered
and washed with distilled water. The crude product was purified by recrystallization from ethanol.
Results and Discussion:

All synthesized compounds were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Based
on the results, the prepared catalyst offers a sustainable, environmentally friendly and cost-effective
method for the synthesis of triazine compounds (Scheme 1). High yield of products (95%), high
speed and simplicity of the method are other advantages of the presented method.
