This study aimed to synthesize graphene oxide modified with MoS2 as a new nanocomposite by a facile and fast method and be employed as an adsorbent for tetracycline (TC) removal from aqueous solution. MoS2 with the 3D sheets has vastly applied in adsorption techniques and graphene oxide has also been studied as a two-dimensional nanomaterial for antibiotic adsorption. The important factors were optimized by central composite design. The synthesized adsorbent exhibited outstanding properties, including proper removal efficiency of TC, excellent reusability.
