In this study, an elaborated 3D model fully compliant with the geometry of radial tire 115/60R13 is worked up, using commercial code Solidworks Simulation. Higher-order elements are employed for properly overlapping mesh and problem domain boundary. The hyper-elastic and incompressible rubber as tire main material is analyzed by Moony-Rivlin model. Throughout the model, the effects of inflation pressure and axle loads on deformation and stress/ strain fields created in the tire are assessed, with a particular focus on the contact area and sidewalls. Comparing the obtained results with laboratory tests, demonstrates that this study provides a comprehensive and high accuracy analysis with low cost and time expenditure on tire-road interaction.
