This paper presents the results of cellulose fibre extraction from sesbaniasesban plant. The sesbanpowder were treated by mechanical/chemical method in order to remove non-cellulosic components such as lignin, hemicellulose, and pectin as well as to obtain cellulosefibre. extracted cellulose-based materials, including their Schiff bases, were synthesized characterized by FT_IR and SEM.
