Abstract

The catalytic activity of a polymer nanocomposite was investigated. The amount of catalyst, temperature, time, amount of oxidant and solvent were optimized. 0.022 gr of this polymer composite for oxidation benzyl alcohol at 80 °C within 6h is the best amount of catalyst. The longevity, easy and practical recoverability of the solid catalyst was also confirmed for six times.
