In this research study, magnetic sporopollenin as biological polymer was prepared and used for magnetic dispersive solid phase extraction of diazinon. The effect of influential parameters was studied. At optimum conditions, the linear range of 0.1-300 µg kg-1, LOD of 0.32 µg kg-1 and LOQ of 0.15 µg kg-1 were achieved. The potential of the method was evaluated in onion. The repeatability (intra–day precision (n=)) of ≤ 2.5% and reproducibility (inter–day precision, days=5, n=3) of ≤3.3 % and were appraise at two concentration levels (10 and 50 μg kg-1 of diazinon). High relative recoveries of 93.8-101.1 % confirmed high potential of the presented method.
