In this study dispersive micro-solid phase extraction has been presented for the simultaneous determination of trace amounts of atrazine and cyanazine in water by gas chromatography- mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Then, the solvent containing the herbicides was used for the process. 2-(3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1, 3-dithiolane was used for modification of bentonite. The important parameters such as type and volume of extraction solvent, times, temperature, and amount of magnetic organo sorbent were investigated through the process. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity in the range of 0.2 -100 µg L-1 and 0.5-60 µg L-1 with the correlation coefficient (r2)> 0.9995 and 0.9990, low limits of detection (LODs) of 0.07 and 0.04 µg L-1, and relative standard deviations (RSD%, n= 7) of 2.8% and 3.6% were obtained for atrazine and cyanazine respectively. The proposed procedure showed satisfactory results for simultaneous determination of atrazine and cyanazine in agricultural water.
