Nettle seeds are a good source of linoleic and oleic acid, vitamin E, phytosterols, and antioxidants. Extract oil from nettle seeds is are potential free radical scavenger and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. This research aims to extraction and purification of the methyl 2,4-dihydroxy-3,5,6-trimethylbenzoate (methyl 3,5,6-trimethylresorcylate) from nettle seeds purchased from Jiroft City using the methanolic extraction technique.
