Abstract

Here, the capacity of various nanocages (C70, Al35N35, Si52, B26N26, Ge60 and B30P30) as anodes in batteries is calculated. Here, the novel materials (Al35N35, B26N26 and B30P30) with high performances and efciency as anodes to use in batteries are proposed. The Vcell and CTheory of various nanocages (C70, Al35N35, Si52, B26N26, Ge60 and B30P30) as anode in batteries are calculated. The obtained Vcell and CTheory are compared by those values of various nano-compounds, metals and metal oxides as anodes in batteries. The Vcell of Al35N35 and B30P30 nanocages as anode in batteries (1.68 to 2.11 V) are higher than metals and metal oxides and C70, Si52 and Ge60 nanocages. The CTheory of Al35N35 and B30P30 nanocages (548.8 to 808.8 mAh/g) are higher than metals and metal oxides and C70, Si52 and Ge60 nanocages. Here, the Al35N35 and B30P30 are proposed as acceptable anodes in batteries with higher cell voltage and capacity than other metals and metal oxides
